| Introduction |
This workshop provides an introduction to Safety Management Systems for small mines and quarries. Attendees will get an understanding of what a Safety Management System should look like for a small quarry, share ideas with other quarry operators, receive help with SHMS elements, and receive information on how to improve their site SHMS.
It will also be useful for those developing and implementing a new or updated SHMS. Examples and templates will be provided to assist quarry operators in developing and/or improving their Safety Management System.
