IQA President's Medal

To recognise a member who has given outstanding and ongoing service to the extractive industry that demonstrates leadership and the advancement of the industry as a whole. The winner will have supported the IQA through involvement in areas such as branch, sub-branch, committee, Board and Council membership over a period of time. The winner must be a member of the IQA.

Applicants will be judged against the following criteria:

• Outstanding and ongoing service to the extractive industry that demonstrates leadership and the advancement of the industry as a whole
• Outstanding and ongoing service to the IQA through involvement in branch, sub-branch, committee, Board and Council membership
• Representation of the extractive industry on industry, government, public bodies and other relevant groups that promotes the profile of the IQA and industry
• Demonstrate and embody the highest standards of professionalism, IQA code of conduct, professional standards and values of the IQA
• Promotes the IQA through their won role and via other influential positions in the industry
• Demonstration of ongoing professional development and personal growth for themselves and their teams

The award winner will be publicised via the IQA website, Quarry Magazine and other media.
