All positions declared vacant. Secretary advised that no nominations had been received prior. On that basis all current position holders were asked if they would re stand.Continued

The Tasmanian branch need to find new office bearers for 2009 election for chairman, secretary, Treasurer as incumbents looking to step down by then.

22nd July 2008Followed AGMPresent, Apologies, Guests as per AGM MinutesPDP: Worth having same but interest level not there from members so concept put on hold.Golf Day: 28th Sept Exeter Ian Beams will run event but need IQA to arrange details organising group. R Locke, L Rhodes, M Pilcher, J Stanton – Secretary. Assistance – discussion on dare and if we can get organised or delay.Non Social Weekend: Details of accommodation venues circulated - Scamander preferred and J Stanton to book same.Council Report: Highlights of Graham’s council report read out to members.Incoming/Outgoing correspondence: Copies circulated to members already sent via electronic means also.Nigel Beeke CCAA: Would like to target running a 1 day OH&S seminar in 2009 – Date to be advised and would like IQA TAS to support it with funds and attendance. Format similar to recent event run in QLD. D Abrahams endorsed the concept, meeting agreed to offer support.Meeting closed and dinner at the Customs House Hotel.
