  Annual Institute of Quarrying Golf Day at Joondalup

Picture-perfect weather conditions formed the backdrop to yet another successful Golf Day and Dinner held by the WA Branch of the Institute of Quarrying at Joondalup each November.

The players were a mixed batch of serious golfers and those who had never played before, resulting in a very wide spread of scores.  The main aim was to provide networking opportunities within the industry and to have fun.

The winning team was made up by Travis Cargill, Alan Symonds, Frank Andrich and Shane Thomas from WesTrac.  Second place went to the team from Earthwest, followed very closely by the team from Hanson.

Players were joined by their partners for the Annual Dinner that followed and Jen Vanderweide was the lucky winner of our $2,000 travel voucher.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the networking and catching up with friends in the industry.
