IQA Young Members' Network (YMN) - bridging the gap between career and industry

The Young Members' Network has been established to provide our young members and those that are new to the quarry industry with guidance, support and an opportunity to develop a successful career with in the industry. We aim to set up a national networ where like minded young people can get to know their peers, share ideas and experiences, build key industry contacts and perhaps develop new friendships. The YMN is an active group with co-ordinators in each state that prvides important services targeted at young or new members.

 

What will the YMN provide for its Young/ New members?

  • Opportunity for industry exposure through interviews and work related biographies.
  • Opportunity to learn and write technical papers which could be published.
  • Guidance and advice on career paths with options for career development.
  • Forums and events targeted at young/ new members providing essential industry workshops as well as social interactions.
  • Employment opportuniy for student members.
  • Support and assistance in your current role by having a network you can turn to.
