Introducing our Guest Speakers
Steve is the Founder and Principal Consulting at Cement & Aggregate Consulting (Cemagg). Steve has national and international experience in the construction materials, cement manufacturing, civil construction and mining industries with a particular focus on working out how to put technology to use to help quarry operators know what's in the ground, how to extract it viably and ensure compliance.
Steve's presentation will focus on Quarry technology that can help decision making. Quarry managers are under ever increasing pressure to run safe, viable and compliant businesses. But how do you do this when the tools that most of us use to achieve these aims haven't changed much over the past twenty years? Drones, GPS survey, Machine guidance etc. - how to make sense of it all? Join us for an interactive discussion about new tools and systems that can improve decision making and free up your time.
Barry is the Major Account Manager for Hitachi. Barry's presentation will focus on Hitachi’s capabilities to support the quarry industry including Hitachi’s relationship with IQA, the Hitachi and Bell range of construction machinery suitable for the quarry industry and how Hitachi supports their products by parts & servicing.
