The Northern Rivers councils need to deliver around $2.0b of civil infrastructure recovery works on top of $891m of business as usual (BAU) works. Approximately $2.1b of recovery works are required for non-civil infrastructure, such as buildings and waste management / landfill facilities. More than half the total recovery works (57%) are works comprising slope stability, landfill reconstruction, stormwater drainage, retaining walls, bridge repairs, pavement reconstruction and repairs, and other civil works.
