Get in early and book your accommodation for what will be a great Technical & Social Weekend.
Secure your accommodation directly with the venue. Preliminary “hold only” accommodation for our weekend in November. Once again a cabin/caravan park to allow members to use their own mobile accommodation.
Accommodation is "hold only" only and we now need to confirm numbers, rooms, etc. Accommodation MUST be booked direct immediately- it will not be held!

Choice of self-contained cabins, powered sites suitable for caravans or motor homes. All at the one venue.
Early Booking is Recommended!
5% discount for IQA attendees - mention the Institute of Quarrying (IQA) when you book to receive the discounted rates listed below.

- 2 bedroom cabin - 1 double and 1 queen bed | $195.00 per night
- 2 bedroom cabin - 1 double and 1 single bed | $185.00 per night
- 2 bedroom cabin - 1 queen and 1 one set of bunk beds | $210.00 per night
- 2 bedroom cabins - 1 double bed, two bunk beds | $230.00 per night
All cabins have: 1 bathroom, kitchenette, living and dining space including sofa

Friday 24th November:
Arrival & Check in at the park
Dinner is at your leisure. If you are looking to dine out we recommend The Waterloo Hotel, Saltshaker Cafe or The Bark Mill Tavern.
Saturday 25th November:
Breakfast: self catered
Saturday tour: 8:45am for 9:00am Departure
The full program is still in the planning stage, we will provide further details once confirmed.
The day will likely include:
- Ron Bugg talks rocks
- Professor Pinner talks history
- Visit to Swamsea Museum, Spiky Bridge, Wineries, Historic Sandstone Quarry (Orford), Tasman Sea Salt, Lisdillon, Elphinstone Trailers and more.
Lunch: Winery or pub somewhere | Costs TBA
Saturday night:
7:00pm Group Dinner

Sunday 26th November (Optional):
Day trip to Maria Island
Ferry (return): $52.00 per adult, 42.00 per concession or $32 per child
Bike Hire on the island is available, bookings must be made in advance
