Background:
Richard is qualified geologist, business manager, and trainer/assessor. He has 25+ years of operations and general management experience within the construction materials industry, both in Australia and internationally, including working in quarrying, concrete, and asphalt businesses. In the early part of his career, Richard spent 8 years serving in the Australian Army Reserve as a Captain in the Royal Australian Engineers.

Richard’s skill set ranges from practical operational management advice and services, project management, geological reconnaissance and exploration for quarry materials, business planning, due diligence, coaching and training services. In 2014, Richard commenced EXTRAXI PTY LTD, a management consultancy offering professional and practical services to the construction materials and broader industry.
