Introduction  This PDP has been designed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to identify legal compliance requirements at their quarry, and then develop, implement, monitor and review appropriate compliance management systems.

Topics Covered

The content of this course provides an advanced knowledge component for legal compliance requirements and safety and health legal requirements in quarries including:

  • Provide information about the scope of compliance procedures.
  • Implement and monitor management of compliance.
  • Implement, monitor and prioritise compliance requirements.
  • Implement, monitor and document procedures and training for compliance.

Provide the knowledge and tools for Quarry Management personnel to:

  • Identify legal compliance requirements at their respective quarry operations.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and review compliance management systems. 
  • Prepare for on-site assessment of competency as part of the Quarry Management Certification System (QMCS).
