Project Management Principles

Introduction

Projects exist throughout the life cycle of quarries; exploration and development projects, capital works and construction projects, and operational improvement projects to name just a few.

Multifaceted, capital intensive projects will (and should) be led by a dedicated project management team; however, less complex projects are often managed by line managers and supervisors in the course of their “day-jobs”.
