Membership Review Committee

The IQA Board has set the requirements for each grade of membership. The Membership Review Committee's role is to monitor the application and assessment process and determine applications for member status. IQA staff will assess applications against set criteria for each grade. Where an application requires further assessment, staff will escalate the application to the Membership Review Committee for a determination.

Role of the Membership Review Committee:

  • Determine applications for membership that are referred to it by National Office staff or Chair of the Committee;
  • Determine applications for membership that are referred to it by applicants that are appealing the decision of National Office staff or Chair of the Committee;
  • Review and provide recommendations to the Board via the IQA Chief Executive Officer on all nominations for Honorary Fellow;
  • Review and provide advice to the IQA Chief Executive Officer on all membership matters;
  • Review and provide advice to the IQA Chief Executive Officer on strategies to sustain and grow membership; and
  • Refer matters of Committee composition, membership guideline amendments, membership grades and annual membership fees to the Board via the IQA Chief Executive Officer.
