IQA Quarry Manager of the Year <10 FTE Sponsored by Metso

To recognise an individual Quarry Operator with demonstrable achievements within the quarrying industry. The winner have evidence of personal commitment and leadership in OH&S and demonstration of broad industry knowledge of areas such as safety, risk, environment and operations.

Applicants will be judged against the following criteria:

• Evidence of personal commitment and leadership in OH & S and evidence of site outcomes
• Evidence of commitment and leadership in environmental management for area of responsibility
• Evidence of quarry planning and achieving stated targets and objectives across a 12 month period
• Evidence of personnel management and development of their team
• Evidence of strong asset / plant / machinery management and outcomes achieved
• Demonstration of ongoing professional development and personal growth for themselves
• Letters of recommendation from suppliers, managers, colleagues
