About the role
Based in Wellington and reporting to the Executive General Manager – Holcim New Zealand, you will be responsible for the full P&L: delivering safety, operational and commercial outcomes for the New Zealand aggregates business, including the effective running of the Wellington and Hastings operations, achieving volume and price expectations and driving the development of a pipeline of growth opportunities.

Leading a multifunctional team, the role is focused on achieving profitable operations across New Zealand whilst contributing as part of the Holcim New Zealand Leadership Team to influence all areas of the national business.

This role is crucial in delivering the changes required to align with the Holcim New Zealand strategy and culture.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Promote and deliver a  positive safety culture and achieve relevant targets
  • Implement strategies to grow and develop the regions operations
  • Provide leadership to direct reports and wider team
  • Set relevant employee performance standards and ensure these are achieved
  • Ensure the HNZ’s business plan is developed, implemented, monitored and reviewed
  • Achieve financial performance targets across volumes, prices, margins and EBITDA
