Quarry Roads and Onsite Vehicle Safety | Webinar
The Quarry Roads and Onsite Vehicle Safety webinar has been designed to provide participants with an understanding of the safety, efficiency and productivity considerations for managing haul roads and transport in quarries.
Course Overview
Date: Tuesday, July 28th
Time: 9:30am – 11:30pm AEST (NSW Time)
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams
Incidents involving vehicles and mobile plant have the potential to seriously injure or kill due to the sheer size of the equipment typically involved.
Examples include dump trucks reversing into dozers, reversing dump truck rollovers, pedestrians suffering serious crush injuries from reversing mobile plant, and collisions between loaders, trucks and light vehicles. These incidents occur too frequently.
Well designed and maintained roads and vehicle operating areas can make these accidents less likely. The Quarry Roads and Onsite Vehicle Safety webinar has been designed to provide participants with an understanding of the safety, efficiency and productivity considerations for managing haul roads and transport in quarries.
