Site Tour | LS Precast
LS Precast is a locally run and owned business specialising in producing high-quality precast elements for large, high-profile infrastructure projects nationwide. It is the largest precast facility in the southern hemisphere. LS Precast is owned and run by local operator Ashley Day who also owns LS Quarry. LS Precast uses state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to produce large-scale precast products. The facility has the capacity to build elements in large quantities, making it one of the fastest and highest-quality producers.

The tour will include a walk through of operational sheds, showing static moulds and carousel in operation, as well as the pre-stressing shed and how the precast segments are made from drawings to the end of the process.

Mandatory PPE for Site Tour
Long sleeve shirt with high vis over the top (vest or coat), long pants, safety footwear, helmet, safety glasses

The site visit is optional - registrants may attend the dinner only if they choose.

Guest Presenter | Pete Rourke

  Pete Rourke is the founder of Project 365, a community-driven initiative created to raise awareness, spark conversations and provide meaningful support around mental health across our region.

Driven by a passion to create positive change within rural communities, Pete has led Project 365 from an idea into a movement that continues to make a real impact. Through fundraising events, community engagement and open conversations, the initiative has helped break down stigma surrounding mental health while bringing people together through connection and support.

Most notably, Project 365 has helped co-fund a youth mental health support worker in partnership with Gateway Health and Headspace, providing direct support pathways for young people in our community.

Pete is widely respected for his authenticity, leadership and genuine commitment to helping others, with his work continuing to inspire meaningful conversations and lasting change throughout the region.

Registration for this event includes the site tour, a two-course meal, and refreshments.
