Fellowship Requirements:

To become a Fellow, you must meet these criteria:

  • 5 years minimum IQA membership with no breaks and regular engagement
  • Diploma or equivalent (or 10+ years sector experience with 5+ senior management)
  • 7+ years direct quarry operations experience
  • Leadership experience (one of the following):
    • Managed 20+ employees for 5+ years in quarry operations
    • Managed multiple sites/territories for 5+ years
    • Held senior management position for 5+ years
  • Nomination by two current IQA Fellows

How do I apply for Fellowship?

You cannot apply directly - you must be nominated by two current IQA Fellows who can attest to your contributions and leadership in the sector.

You will need:

  • Detailed career history demonstrating leadership experience
  • Evidence of active IQA engagement and contribution
  • Support from two current Fellows willing to nominate you
  • Documentation of qualifications and experience

What if I don't meet the diploma requirement?

If you don't hold a diploma, you can demonstrate 10+ years engagement in the essential construction materials sector with 5+ years in senior management positions.

Is Fellowship the highest level of membership?

Fellowship is the highest level you can achieve through application. Honorary Fellowship is awarded for exceptional lifetime contribution but cannot be applied for.

How long does the Fellowship application process take?

Fellowship applications require Membership Review Committee and Board approval, which may take up to 6 weeks to complete through our governance process.
