- Working as a plant or equipment operator in quarry operations
- Operating mobile plant, fixed plant, or processing equipment
- Involved in the day-to-day operational activities of quarrying
- Can be employed directly by a quarry or through contractors

How do I apply to become an Operator member with the IQA?
Complete our online application form
You will need:
- Current employment information
- Details of your operational role and equipment operated
- Length of experience in quarry operations

- Plant & Equipment Safety courses
- Mobile Plant Safety
- Quarry Roads & Onsite Vehicle Safety
- All courses available at member rates

Can I upgrade my membership later?
Yes. As you gain more experience or move into technical/supervisory roles, you can apply to upgrade to Technical Member or other categories
