We will have Two mini buses and do a lap of Bruny Island.
Tour Cape Bruny Lighthouse
Stop for lunch at Hotel Bruny (self care)
Visit the Quarantine Station
Visit Bruny Island Cheese, Bread & Beer Tasting
7:00pm Group Buffet Dinner @ Bruny Bowls and Community Club | 730 Adventure Bay Rd, Adventure Bay.
Please advise any dietary requirements, $40/head plus drinks from the bar.

The following accommodation options are available:

- 5 x 2 bedroom cabins - sleep up to 7 | $150pn for up to 2 people with an additional $20 for extra guests over 4 years of age
- Powered Sites
multiple powered sites available. Bring your own van or camper and use the onsite facilities - Camp Kitchen, BBQ Areas, Amenities, Children’s Playground
Sites are $35pn with an additional fee of $10 per adult and $7 per child
IQA members will get 10% discount on rates offered above. Talk to the venue to tailor your booking to suit your family size.

All accommodation and associated costs are to be paid directly to the venue.
We will lose any Cabins on hold if not confirmed by Oct– any late bookings will be pure chance if cabins are still available, and the rate offered may not be available.

From interstate fly into Hobart (closest airport)
Then its 83km (40 mins from Hobart) via B68 to Kettering
Please be careful around Kettering. The speed limit is 40Kmh and the “boys and girls in blue” monitor this regularly.
You need to catch the Sealink Ferry 15-20min crossing time. Passengers travel FOC. 20 mins drive to Adventure Bay.
Currently SeaLink Bruny Island does not operate via a booking system they operate via a queueing system at the dock.

- First ferry departs Kettering to Bruny Daily at 6.30am
- Last ferry Kettering to Bruny departs Kettering 7pm daily
- First ferry departing Bruny to Kettering 6.30am
- Last ferry Bruny to Kettering 7.15pm
Purchase tickets on line or at the booth. Depending on Length of vehicle combo, typical price is as follows:
- Driver and vehicle less than 6 metres $38
- Driver and Vehicle 6m up to 10m $65
- When towing a separate fare applies to the towed unit

The IQA Tas Branch has rented two Mini Buses for the weekend. We will need to cap seating on the buses so get in early.
We have the option for people to park their cars at a private location in Kettering and travel on the rented Mini Bus to Adventure Bay: Departing around 5pm Friday arvo - Means no cost to get over!
If you are interested in the mini bus option, please make the selections in the registration process, numbers are limited - let us know so we can work this option.
What to Bring
- Sturdy footwear, Jacket, warm weather clothing, etc. and sun protection for variable weather
