A workplace safety and health management system is a set of policies, procedures and plans that systematically manages health and safety at work and can help to minimise the risk of injury and illness from workplace operations.
All quarry operators are required to establish a safety and health management system which effectively addresses the risks associated with site operations.

Chris has worked as a manager in the construction materials and mining industry for over 10 years. In this time, he has held senior statutory management positions at large hard rock quarries and a mineral sand mine. Chris is passionate about safety in the workplace ensuring systems and processes are in place support to the workforce to achieve this.
