Honorary Fellow is the pinnacle IQA membership category, recognising exceptional contribution to the sector (20+ years) and Institute (10+ years). Nominated by two members, submitted via the CEO and approved by the Board.

Upgrade Your Membership

The IQA offers membership options to suit every role and career stage in the sector. Choose the category that best fits your experience and professional goals.

Membership grades are based on your role in the sector, formal qualifications, experience, and engagement with the IQA.

To upgrade your membership:

  • You must be a current financial member.
  • You must meet the requirements for the membership category you are applying for - see the Membership Categories section above for guidance.

How to apply:

  1. Download and complete the Upgrade Membership Form
  2. Email your form to [email protected].
  3. The IQA Membership Review Committee will review your application.

 

Upgrade to Fellow (FIQ)

Fellow is the IQA’s highest level of membership, recognising leaders with extensive experience and significant contributions to the sector.

To apply:

  1. Fill out APPLICATION FOR UPGRADE TO FELLOW - DOWNLOAD HERE
  2. Check the criteria in Clause 3.2, Annexure A of the form.
  3. Provide supporting documents (e.g. role, experience, qualifications, etc.).
  4. Get two current Fellows to nominate you
  5. Submit your completed application to [email protected].
  6. Your application will be reviewed by the Membership Review Committee and submitted to the IQA Board for final approval.
